This comic is still my best work, a project I began with the intention of writing and drawing a story in completely fictional world. Fantasy is my favourite genre, and I thrieved crafting this book. I got the chance to make most of it in Angoulême with the help of a grant. This was the first time I was able to focus on making a comic without having to study or work on some other job. The theme of this story is power, and how to break that balance that’s crafted by those who hold it. A main inspiration towards creating this book was playing The legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Making this comic I learned how colour my pages with digital software. Following my paranormal studies arc, I switched to study creepypastas and the impact these stories have within social groups. The theme of this story is fear, and how we face that feeling in different situations. In this comic the focus is the main character, through whom experiences we learn the events and concepts I wanted to develop. This was a major change in my way of telling stories, transitioning from a cold and distant voice to a closer narrator in which the reader could fully rely. A great inspiration towards making this comic was Marble Hornets, a youtube series. I wrote an essay to wrap this book as well, this time to explain the real impact of creepypastas in our life.

My first long story published, a comic about aliens and the truth behind them. I focused my study about paranormal stories into alien encounters and ufo sightings, being the works of John Keel and Jacques Vallée a main inspiration to write this story, as well as as watching the whole X-Files series for the first time. I wrote a little essay that serves as an epilogue in order to clarify some history and data about all the alien phenomenology that’s featured in the book. The theme in this story is the truth, and how learning to understand each other may help us understanding what’s really out there.
El cristal imposible

This was my very first published work, a short comic that was meant to be a tale (sorts of). As it was my graduation project I felt really lucky I got the chance to get it published. It’s the story of a person that wants to categorize everything but encounters an object that’s imposible to define. The obssesion with it grows to become a part of themself, quite literally. The theme is knowledge and how trying to understand what’s beyond our reach is sometimes an impossible task. I started to learn about supernatural stories making this book.
thanks for reading all the way down here♥
